Toronto's Roncesvalles Village will host the milestone 20th edition of the Roncesvalles Polish Festival on September 19 and 20, 2026, drawing what organizers expect to be some of the largest crowds in the event's history to North America's largest celebration of Polish culture.
Presented by the Roncesvalles Village BIA, the free, two-day festival runs Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Roncesvalles Avenue, the heart of Toronto's historic Polish community. This year's anniversary edition builds on two decades of tradition with four stages, more than 40 restaurants, cafés and bakeries, roughly 150 local shops and merchants, 90-plus vendors and exhibitors, and six beverage gardens, including the Great Lakes Brewery Garden and the Copernicus Beverage Garden.
Festivalgoers can look forward to Polish folk dancing, choirs, and cultural performances, alongside more than 20 bands spanning polka, disco polo, and Canadian headliners across the Main Stage, the Scotiabank Polkamania Stage, and the Garden Stage. Saturday night's "Dance Under the Stars," presented by The Babiak Team, closes out the first day with a live outdoor dance party on Roncesvalles Avenue.
Food remains a centrepiece of the weekend, with pierogi, kielbasa, bigos, and pączki available throughout the festival grounds, plus the popular Pierogi-Eating Contest on the Polkamania Stage. Families can also visit the TD Family Fun Zone, the Sidorova Inwood Bounce Park, and the Midway Zone, while visitors looking for a photo opportunity can stop by the Kal Tire Roncy Letters at Fern Avenue and Roncesvalles.
The festival is organized by the Roncesvalles Village BIA, representing more than 270 local businesses, and has become a cornerstone of the community for over two decades, drawing visitors from across the city and beyond to celebrate the neighbourhood's Polish heritage.
