Iga Świątek is through to the semifinals of the 2026 National Bank Open in Toronto, continuing a strong run at Sobeys Stadium that has Polish tennis fans paying close attention to this year's tournament.
The seventh-seeded Świątek opened her Toronto campaign in dominant fashion, delivering a first-set bagel in a 6-0, 6-3 win over Sara Bejlek of the Czech Republic. She followed that with further wins to reach the quarterfinals, where she defeated Diana Shnaider, the 2024 Toronto semifinalist, to book her place in the final four on August 10.
