Toronto is once again set to roar with engines and electrify the city’s streets. From July 18 to 20, 2025, the legendary Honda Indy Toronto returns, drawing thousands of racing fans from across Canada and around the world.

What makes this race so unique? Unlike a traditional racetrack, it takes place right on Toronto’s city streets! The course winds through Exhibition Place, along the shores of Lake Ontario, creating a truly urban and electric atmosphere.

History and tradition

The Honda Indy Toronto is one of North America’s oldest and most beloved street races. Since its debut in 1986, it has captured the hearts of Canadian motorsport fans. Many legendary drivers have competed here, and the presence of top IndyCar stars guarantees intense excitement every year.

What to expect in 2025

This year’s race promises to be hotter than ever — and not just because of the summer weather! Drivers will tackle 90 laps, battling for every inch of the challenging street circuit.

Alongside the main IndyCar race, fans can also enjoy support series like Radical Cup Canada and Miata Canada Cup. There will be family zones, live music, entertainment, and activities for all ages, making it a true summer festival in the heart of Toronto.
