

New Orleans jazz legend, trumpeter, composer, educator, and bandleader Gregory Vaughan “Gregg” Stafford returned to Toronto for the 16th Annual Gregg Stafford New Orleans Stomp, performing two lively shows at Grossman’s Tavern on Friday, June 12.
The iconic Grossman’s Tavern on Spadina Avenue offered the perfect atmosphere for an evening filled with traditional New Orleans jazz, rhythm, and dance. With dozens of music lovers in attendance, the venue came alive as Stafford brought the spirit and sound of New Orleans directly to the Toronto stage.
Known for his deep connection to the musical traditions of New Orleans, Gregg Stafford delivered an unforgettable performance that celebrated the city’s rich jazz heritage. His trumpet playing, stage presence, and leadership created a warm and energetic evening for everyone in the room.
